Quick reviews of current view and listen:

Loki Series 2 Episode 2: I'm not sure the narrative throughline in this episode is quite working, but the MOMENTS in the episode are EVERYTHING. Also, I have been craving key lime pie for two days.

I am just so curious about where we go from here....

Slayers: a Buffyverse Story: I'm a little over two hours into the audiodrama, and it's wonderful to hear my favorite Buffyverse folk again. Emma Caulfield Ford is just so perfect as parallel universe Anya in particular. I've just reached the first appearance of Giles, too. (It's not a Giles/Anya story, but then I didn't expect it to be.) James Marsters has settled back into Spike beautifully, and Juliet Landau and Charisma Carpenter are brilliant. And there's Clem and kitten poker, and ahhhhh. (I don't mind one bit that we don't have Xander or Willow, although I know others might.)

So all of that is pleasant, and I had a whole day and a half off wherein I had a massage and then took a historical cemetery walk despite a vile return of tropical heat, and tomorrow night autumn arrives. We cling to good things while we can.

Good to hear that Slayers is enjoyable. It’s on my Audible wish list but I haven’t bought it yet.

We are on holiday in Dorset at the moment and the temperature has dropped about 10 degrees in a week. Autumn has definitely arrived!

In reverse order: Dorset! I am hoping to go to Lyme Regis for a few days in May/June. Hope that autumn i delightful there!

Slayers is fun so far. I will say that it seemed to me that it takes James a little while to find the Spike voice again, but it gets there. The attitude is correct from the beginning, though. ;)

I found the pacing of Loki 2x02 rather odd, but like you I was enchanted by the moments. <3

Yes, the structure and pacing were a bit off, but I wouldn't have missed the delightful long moments of the London sequence, the Automat, the big fight scene, and the two interrogations. :)

Awwww the Buffyverse story sounds good. I am sad I can't access it...

It's an interesting story, but it's just more fun to hear the old favorites. :)

I have the Audible app on my phone but I don't subscribe any more; I bought the audiobook and just play it through Audible.
