It's almost autumn, even here in the subtropics! It's almost autumn!

Summer in the Sun Belt is my least favorite season. Autumn is my FAVORITE. I love the drop in humidity and temperatures, the ability to open windows in the mornings and let fresh air blow through the house, the morning walks, the beginning of baking season, the fall of night earlier and earlier. I realize that part of my joy is because of where I live, but honestly, I prefer autumn in all locations.

So let's have a few Autumn 3-sentence fics.

Happy first days of autumn!

Well, I don't think I'll write more than this, but I wanted to spend a bit of time with Crowley and Aziraphale, and I love the whole they-retired-to-the-South-Downs-afterward conceit (per Neil and T Pratchett).

So. Anyway. Aziraphale and Crowley (and Aziraphale/Crowley) in the between times of the day. Sunset, Sunrise. 1270 words, mostly gen, but shippy as dammit. ;)

[Why do I not have a David Tennant icon? So strange.]

Happy day to all!

Links and thoughts today:

1) Another Good Omens shippy vid, to Hozier's "From Eden". (Yes, that's on the nose. It's great, even so.)

I am once more back on my David Tennant bullshit, as the kids say. (Michael Sheen is a dream too, though.) Jeepers, he is ridiculously sexy. (Still not my favourite of the new Doctors, but anyhoo.)

Also, I had vowed not to buy anything clothing-related for a while, but now I'm eying a long skinny red rock-n-roll scarf so that I can do some Crowley stealth-cosplay when it gets cooler here (as in, November).

2) Really fascinating interview with fashion editor/icon Carine Roitfeld in the Guardian today.

My style doesn't usually tend Roitfeld-way, but occasionally I manage it -- pencil skirt and heels, that sort of thing. However, I need to do MUCH more Pilates to pull it off these days. MUCH more.

A couple of weeks ago I had a de facto private Pilates lesson (the other people in the group class had to leave early), and wow, that's really intense. The instructor watched and corrected my form and also challenged me in ways I hadn't anticipated. I am going to try to do a private lesson every other week, in fact.

3) I believe I have mentioned here my love for the Modfather, Paul Weller. (The Jam! The Style Council! His solo work!) Today is the 22nd anniversary of the release of his album Heavy Soul. Have a Jools Holland Show live performance of "Heavy Soul, Parts One and Two". This is Giles-music, I think. :)

Happy week ahead to you all!

I am 1) struggling with a sinus infection, 2) tired, 3) trying to write, and 4) obsessed with Good Omens.

So, in case you too are obsessed with Aziraphale/Crowley, two Good Omens fanvids set to the music of Queen, as is written in the holy book itself. Spoilers, obviously, but look, it's Ginger David Tennant and Cuddly Michael Sheen!

"Don't Stop Me Now. More plotty bits in here, but still focused on the Angel/Demon.

Don't pay attention to the title of the vid. Anyway, they're Best Friends, and they're basically married, bless.

Hope your weekend is delicious.

So yes, I binged Good Omens (over two days), and yes, I have started my rewatch. Here are 10 Spoiler-Free Reactions about the programme, from me.

1) David Tennant as Crowley embodies the concept of LOUCHE, and I AM HERE FOR IT.
2) His Crowley-walk, OMG.
3) I loved the character and the performance. Also, a ginger DT works like anything.
4) Loved Michael Sheen's Aziraphale just as much. Precious cinnamon roll! Cuddly Winnie-the-Pooh in angel form!!
5) What a love-letter to London. Am ready to do a Good Omens walking tour of St James and Soho in December.
6) When Mark Gatiss showed up doing his funny-accent homage in that one scene, I FELL OUT. Also, I still love Gatiss, not even going to lie about it.
7) Really liked Josie Lawrence as Agnes Nutter. (She's not in it much, but she's awesome.) Same for Nina Sosanya as Sister Mary Loquacious.
8) Also really liked the whole crew of angels (Jon Hamm, heee) and demons, but I super-enjoyed Anna Maxwell Martin as Beelzebub and Ariyon Bakare as Ligon.
9) Re Aziraphale/Crowley: I ship it.
10) I MEAN, I SHIP IT.

If you like this sort of thing, you'll love the show.
