Malaise, Post #15

Other than the state of the world, I'm fine, but I'm so tired. Allergies, subtropical summer, state of the world, general malaise -- I blame them all.
So here's a few things that are okay:
*I've taken two great private Pilates lessons in the past two weeks, building strength and improving form. Also, the reformer machine is fun as hell. Three more to go! (Now I have to organize my budget so that after my London trip in July, I can add in a couple of reformer classes a month to my regular mat classes.)
*I had two doctors' appointments this week: foot doctor, where he confirmed arthritis in my feet and high sensitivity but otherwise I'm fine; eye doctor, who changed my prescription, and that means new glasses soon.
*Miss Adventure has been learning a couple of new tricks. [Note: obedience is for the house, NOT for out in the world, according to her.]
*Dragged myself out last night to the local art museum for a gallery talk on the photography exhibit now on display. Really enjoyed myself once I got there. (I didn't want to go -- malaise -- so this is a good lesson.)
*The Essex Serpent.
Now I just have to finish some work around the house and try to get inspired to write....
Hugs and a good Platinum Jubilee weekend to all.
