*Exhausted, allergy-ridden, drowning at work, the renovation continues, horrified at the state of the world, blah blah.
*Also, week 2 of a heat wave, which might break... in 8 days, possibly. If this is a harbinger of what the summer will be like, Do Not Want.
*To move away from whingeing, how 'bout that Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, the Canadian gold medal winners in Ice Dance? Lordt. I am not a fan of RPS in general, but come on now.
*If I had time aside from work, renovation hell, workout regime, and my original-writing projects, I would write a nice Mycroft/Anthea mashup of Arthur Conan Doyle and Sherlock, wherein Victorian!Mycroft is not the Doyle indolent fat genius but Our Mycroft, who hides his spying and his marriage to his lovely "secretary" Anthea (actually a codebreaker, one of the first graduates of Somerville in Oxford) from the general public and his little brother, until Sherlock reluctantly figures it out. But I don't have time.
*I am wearing new black Converse sneakers today, to break them in before my brief vacation in... two weeks.
