Boy, that old Chinese curse was bang on the money. I am ready for significantly less interesting times.
My workplace has transitioned to mostly telecommuting (some face-to-face expectations, but the shift reduces face-to-face contact by 3 or 4X). I plan to stay home most of the time, I think, but... sigh. No Pilates, no drinks out with friends.
This is a terrible time to be home without a dog. :(
So, two three-sentence fics for this Interesting Time:
"Darling, I'm fairly sure it wasn't demonic activity which crashed your stocks," Giles said.
Anya sighed, because she knew that; it was worse, though, that humans were the cause of so much misery, and although she was long out of the vengeance business, sometimes she just wanted to smash things because everything was so terrible.
But she looked at her husband, managed a smile, and said, "Kiss me, honey, and I'll forget about the bad for a while."
........................................
Anthea found her "retired" partner (for he could no longer stand to work for this particular government) in his study, lit by the glow of his laptop screen.
She sighed, and said, "Darling, do stop plotting, it's far too late to take out Boris Johnson."
"I know, darling, I've something else in mind," Mycroft said, and pulled her down into his lap, where she looked at the screen, and -- well, this plot had the benefit of possibly working, if they could just get to D.C.

May you find good things to delight yourself with, these interesting days.
