I think I was in the wrong place personally to appreciate Moffatt's Who but I *loved* Capaldi. We recently watched the last season and really enjoyed it so I suspect I would do better with the whole of Moffatt's run with a rewatch.
I enjoyed the new Doctor and having grown up with more Companions in the TARDIS I'm looking forward to that aspect of it.
Good autumn thoughts to you too. We are ricocheting between proper autumn and an Indian summer here at the moment but doubtless things will settle down eventually.
