Another Monday, Post #17
Jun. 28th, 2021 08:48 amMiss Adventure has begun the week in a v.v. barky mood.
She awoke at the usual time but commenced to barking and herding me out of bed. She spent the next forty minutes on top of the loveseat, barking at the neighbors. When we went to the park, she saw two dogs as soon as she got out of the car and began barking hysterically, which continued for the next fifteen minutes. (I tried distraction techniques, but she can and does still bark even when sat and watching me.)
I'm not sure what this signifies, but -- bark! bark!
Since I can't hear myself think, four things:
1) Knitting: two projects on the go, both of which I am slightly bored with. There is new, beautiful yarn in my F&M hamper/knitting stash which tempts me, but oh, I have to finish at least one of the ongoing projects first.
I am pouting furiously about this.
2) Reading: old romance novels, which is all my brain can take right now.
3) Enjoying Loki; the third ep switched into Doctor Who plotting, which I liked even though the main series arc kind of slowed down. It's a beautiful show to look at (even beyond TH).
4) Sending cooling thoughts to the Pacific Northwest and the West in general. UGH, summer heat.
Hugs to all, and a good week!
