Hanging in there, Post #41
Nov. 23rd, 2020 02:48 pmSo, anyway, I guess it's the holiday season? I will be having my Thanksgiving at home (still to be determined: should I make a pumpkin pie or a cheesecake?), and my workload is still heavy but not horrible.
Whoo. Perhaps we will reach a Whoo Hoo before the end of this year.
This morning (because my workload eased) I did go to the Posh Nearby Town, meet my Grad School Best Friend, and walk their outdoor shopping street, chatting whilst masked (YAY). I also bought a holiday item at Williams Sonoma. I stopped at Sonic on the way back (YAY).
These are all v. good things, but because I am tired and allergy-ridden, I recognize them intellectually as positives but don't feel them strongly.
Let's see, what else is good --
*Alan Rickman's diaries will be published, which promises some good gossip.
*I think I'll watch the Royal Ballet "Golden Hour" streaming performance this week. I don't watch enough dance theatre.
*whole-wheat muffins with dried cranberries and crystallized ginger, A++
Hope you're having good things in your life!
