Apr. 10th, 2018 09:08 amI have a crazy-busy day today, but it is raining and I feel nostalgic for my OTP of OTPs. Hence, a drabble --
Anya sparkles in the rain, Giles thinks. (Well, she is always terrifyingly bright, but especially in the rain.) Drops diamond her hair and lashes, spark on her sharp edges.
Now that they live together in London, he often sees this brightness in the midst of grey, but it always surprises him. More surprised, perhaps, that she is his, that she lights all the dark corners of his life and shows what he's been missing so long –
"Come on, honey," she says to him, and catches his hand. The sparks, the joy, travel from her to him.
He loves rain now.
