Continuing Late, Post #2
Jan. 21st, 2018 10:23 amYikes, it's been a while since I posted. Blame it on mental exhaustion and lots of work, and what energy is left goes to thinking about travel, house, and current writing project.
Good thing: I thoroughly enjoyed the 3rd in Deanna Raybourn's Veronica Speedwell series, A Treacherous Curse. It answers some mysteries about Stoker, Veronica's partner? currently-platonic-but-not-really soulmate? Anyway, him. And it has some fun set-pieces. In fact I've liked it best of the three books in the series.
Good thing: almost to picking tile for the Renovation That Never Ends.
Good thing: whole-wheat cinnamon rolls, which I made yesterday whilst listening to old James Taylor albums. \O/
Good thing: I'll be walking the local 5K with Best Friend and her grandkids in a couple of weeks, which should be fun.
Good thing: a bit of rain this morning. We are dry, after another round of bitter cold (in fact, coldest temp in 8 years), and my poor plants need something nice after struggling through that.
What's good for you these dark days?
