5-Minute Post, Post #22

It's Monday, la la la.

Miss Adventure and I have had our morning walk in the subtropical steam. She still barks at the world, but she managed to make it around the park without lunging at any passing car. Perhaps this is the side-effect of her walk Downtown yesterday; we can only go there on weekend mornings very early, because she gets over-stimulated easily, but she actually managed two blocks on the main street without serious incident. Whee!

Am writing, am working, am trying not to stress-eat. This is going less well than I hoped.

Otherwise, I've had a frustrating summer with online clothing purchases. I bought a Victoria Beckham limited-edition repurposed T-shirt; after a week, the customer-service folk said the T-shirt was actually out of stock and refunded my money. A few weeks later, I bought a cute shirtdress from Hobbs; after a week, same thing happened. So now I'm waiting on a TRULY INSANE shoe purchase from Carel Paris; the shoes have been sitting in France, ready to be shipped, for five days now.

Perhaps I'm cursed. Who knows.

Let's look at the amazing icon of TH in the mirror, made by Misbegotten, instead. :) Hugs and a happy week!

Well done to Miss Adventure for lack of lunging.

Many hugs back and a happy week to you too (hopefully with news that the Parisian shoes are on their way).

Hooray for no lunging at cars! Online shopping though is indeed a crap shoot. Hugs and hopes for better stock management from your preferred vendors.
