I'll properly post soon, probably...

But for now I'll just say that I wrote a drabble about Benedict Bridgerton -- set in Season One, "All Too Exposed". (I really love what Luke Thompson is doing with Benedict.)

Also, to mark my reading: at some point soon I will have Thoughts on the latest Veronica Speedwell mystery by Deanna Raybourn, An Impossible Impostor, where she shakes up the series a bit, and the latest Rivers of London book by Ben Aaronovitch, Amongst Our Weapons, where he shakes up the series but loses me.

It's because I love your writing so much, I clicked the link and read your drabble. Now, I think I know Benedict from season 1? Artistically inclined and fooling around in the demimonde? Sounds as though his ladyfriend is beneath him socially, and how tactless to ask her to mend his shirt. I must get my hands on season 2. I can't really "picture" these two as one does with fanfic, but the writing is lovely.

You always have good book recs, too. Thanks for both.

We aren’t back to theatre going yet but we have booked to see South Pacific in the summer. We are moving cautiously in an onward direction rather slowly:)
