Heat and Protests, Post #23

It has been SO hot in England this summer, and for some reason I felt like a wee ficlet was in order. I'll come back this week and write drabbles for Anthea/Mycroft and Giles/Anya, but for now --

Liz and Finn from Babylon are up. Established relationship, 955 words, "Heat and Protest." First line: "I cannot believe I didn't get to protest Donald Trump," Liz says, for what Finn estimates (conservatively) is the ten thousandth time.

"Heat and Protest," over at AO3.

Yikes, but at least it's not as bad as Portugal right now!

We're experiencing a heat wave on the west coast of Canada -- don't laugh, but 31C/88F is considered crazy hot here. Most of us are cranky and yearn for rain :-(

So. Much. Fun.

Heat waves have to have some benefits, right?

Thanks for the good thoughts. Our air quality is vile here, so I can’t even imagine how bad it is nearer the fires. I’m actually looking forward to the mugginess of Houston and Connecticut when we take off tomorrow.
